- A Warm Message About Our Service Department From One of Our Customers

Valley RV Supercenter is very proud of our Service Department. RVs can be very complex, and even the slightest issue can impact your travel. While we could go on for days about how good our service center is, we will instead share this message from one of our customers.
Yvonne & Herb Knight have purchased two Eagle fifth wheels from our supercenter. They are full-time RVers, and their home port is South Dakota. They prefer to have the Valley RV Supercenter service their rigs and have provided the following reasons:
“Why, you might ask, would we drive 3,000 miles to have our 5th wheel repaired at Valley RV Supercenter…
The answer is not because we have purchased two 5th wheel trailers here, it is because of Tim Griswold and his crew, who actually care about the customer’s needs! As we have traveled across the country, we have had the opportunity to utilize several repair shops. While they are all friendly and willing to help, they all have fallen short. As an example, we went to one shop 5 times for different issues. Each time, we had to return at least one more time to have the issue fixed properly. Two of the items took three times to have it fixed! A couple of times, we got fed up, and I fixed myself.
Our latest purchase has quite a large repair list. We had a couple of items that the tech could find nothing wrong – One was the refrigerator left side door was hard to open. The tech stated, “the customer has to open the right side first”. Tim, with all his experience, knew that was not right and had it fixed properly. Another item was the kitchen slide-out was making a horrible noise and had to be manually helped to close. The tech said nothing (was) wrong. My lovely wife talked to Tim to let him know that in the shop, the slide was not fully opened and suggest that they open it all the way, wait an hour or so, then close it. Tim had the rig pulled outside, and the slide opened completely. At the end of his busy day, Tim took his time and went out to close the slide. It failed on him, too. It is back in the shop being repaired.
Other Service advisors at other places have looked us in the eye and told us that we were wrong, that there is nothing wrong. Not Tim. He has faith in his customers that we are not all idiots that make things up. He will go out of his way to make things right. Not all scenarios are easily explained. So, a tech takes the info that he is given. Sometimes, one word changes the story, which sends the tech down the wrong path. So, no finger-pointing at the tech.”
From deep down – Thank you, Tim and your crew, for making it right the first time with no come backs!! That is why we will travel 3,000 miles to have our rig repaired at Valley RV Supercenter.
We would like to think all our customers are as happy with our Valley RV Supercenter service department as the Knights. We certainly strive for it, and it is all part of the Valley RV Promise.
