Jayco is rolling out its new lineup for 2026, which includes the brand-new Jay Flight SLX Sport 178DBS, a single axle travel trailer that customers have been requesting for quite some time. Plus, newer floor plans have been added, and all-new Class B and C RVs add depth to the company’s overall lineup, giving new and returning buyers plenty of options to choose from.

The new Jay Flight SLX line starts from $17,843. It features a freshwater tank that is as much as 25% larger than its competitors, bunk weight capacities of 300 to 600 lbs, depending on single or double bunks, and a 42,000 BTU tankless water heater in the Sport and 60,000 BTUs in the standard model. You will love the solid hardwood cabinets that feature hidden hinges, extra under-bed storage, and the lighted outside passthrough storage area that allows you to pack up or unpack with ease.

The New SLX Sport

What makes the new Sport 178DBS so unique is the bunk area in the back corner with a dry bath. Users will love that the front bed is placed east to west to maximize space for the kitchen, pantry, and U-shaped dinette table. A double-burner gas stove, R Vision refrigerator, and InVision microwave round out the features that ensure you have a great trip no matter where you are.

Size of the New 178DBS

The Sport 178DBS has an exterior width of 8 feet, a main interior height of 6 feet 6 inches, and an awning length of 10 feet. A family of seven will be able to sleep comfortably, and with a fresh water capacity of 30 gallons, there will be plenty of water for both cooking and cleaning up.

One of the things that is unique for Jayco is if you think historically, because of the two-year warranty and quality of the products – which is still in the products today — we are typically on the high side of a lot of that’s the price point.
